In a world dominated by telecommunications infrastructure there are several types of players requiring network services. Most, however, can roughly be classified across three business segments: fixed networks, mobile networks and enterprise networks. Consequently, the customers vary depending on the network segment, but include telecom operators, systems vendors and enterprise customers.
These groups of companies have traditionally been performing their network services through an in-house solution, but this way of doing business is changing. A new industry is emerging in which players are beginning to concentrate more on their core business, leaving other non-core activities to external specialists.

Our three business segments

Our three business segments – fixed, mobile and enterprise networks – can be divided into customer categories. In the fixed and mobile fields the customers are classically telecom operators or systems vendors, and vary from telecom operators and system integrators to system retailers within the enterprise networks segment.

Reference case

Services performed to customers in the fixed networks segment are typically network installation and maintenance services, and some additional construction services. In the mobile networks segment, the operators’ needs of network services often differ depending on whether they operate an existing network or are in the phase of constructing or rolling out a new network. The services we provide systems vendors, include working in a partnership with them to jointly approach telecom operators, or performing network construction, installation and maintenance services directly as subcontractors of the vendors. In the enterprise networks segment we normally form partnerships with the telecom operators, system integrators or system retailers, offering various enterprises with a full scope of on-site network services.

Our broad on-site network service portfolio, combined with our extensive multivendor competence and experience, enables us to work effectively in all these different constellations with retained first-class performance. By closely guarding our customers' integrity and assuring complete business confidentiality, we can serve different, and occasionally even competing customers in the same markets. It is through serving several customers in the same regions and markets that we are able to lower the costs of our services to customers and improve the quality of the network in accordance with our customers' specifications.
