Relacom has been chosen as the installation services contractor for Varner Retail AS' shops in the Nordic region, including BikBok, Carlings, Cubus and Dressmann. Relacom Finland Expands Its Power Business Significantly

Relacom Finland has gained significant ground in the power industry by more than doubling its business. Relacom now handles the construction and maintenance of electrical network across seven regions of western and southern Finland. The network belongs to LNI Acquisition Oy, a consortium* which bought the electricity distribution and district heating businesses in Finland from Vattenfall i December. Relacom's operations in Bangladesh have been transferred to local management in a management buyout. The local team in Bangladesh has acquired Relacom Bangladesh Operations. Relacom Bangladesh employs 70 staff in the Dhaka region and implements projects across the country. The company will continue to operate under the Relacom brand until December 2012. The sale of the operations in Bangladesh is part of Relacom's strategy to focus on the Nordic countries and Poland.
